I’m Devan Bratton, a writer, former podcaster and all-day project manager.

I am the current and founding Personals Editor for the Park Slope Reader, a quarterly Brooklyn newspaper. I was head writer for the organization Speak Up Los Angeles which I co-founded with Deanna Bratton and Courtney Kawata. You can also find my writing on the popular blog The Everygirl.

Together with my friend JS Lewis I co-hosted the podcast Watch Your Words about books and their movie adaptations, two of my absolute favorite things.

By day I work in tech, helping things grow and become more efficient. Real cool kid stuff like that. My background is in program management and business operations for mission driven companies in various industries.

I have a B.S. in Business Administration from USC – Fight On! – and a Master’s in Public Administration from NYU.  I am from Los Angeles and now live in Brooklyn.
